Job Summary

We are in search of a highly skilled and proactive Senior Procurement Specialist to lead and streamline procurement initiatives, supplier relations, and supply chain functions. The preferred applicant will demonstrate extensive industry expertise, exceptional negotiation abilities, and a demonstrated history of successfully sourcing oil and gas equipment and technical materials.

Oversee critical operational duties encompassing strategic planning, execution oversight, and continuous evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project completion, resolve challenges proactively, and maintain high standards of performance. Monitor progress through detailed reporting, data analysis, and periodic assessments to identify trends, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Ensure adherence to compliance standards, industry regulations, and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.

Proactively identify and assess potential vendors and suppliers to determine their suitability and reliability.

Engage with OEMs and suppliers to obtain and evaluate quotations and pricing details.

Responsibilities include developing and overseeing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conducting thorough bid evaluations, and meticulously preparing contract documentation.

Oversee the acquisition of necessary equipment, materials, and services to support operational needs.

Maintain and ensure the ongoing accuracy of the supplier database through regular updates.

Evaluate and integrate reliable suppliers and OEMs by leveraging strategic sourcing methods.

Foster and sustain robust partnerships with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual growth.

Guarantee that all procurement-related processes are conducted in accordance with established company policies and regulatory industry standards.

Enhance inventory management, logistics operations, and supply chain efficiency through targeted initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in a relevant field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also necessary. Excellent communication skills for both written and verbal interactions are required. Candidates should have experience with software development methodologies and tools. Knowledge of databases and cloud services is a plus. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks is preferred.

A Bachelor of Science degree or Higher National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.

With a minimum of five years of hands-on procurement experience specifically within the EPCI or Oil & Gas industry, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in sourcing and vendor management.

Proficiency in utilizing Aria EP is required, along with a solid understanding of its functionalities and capabilities.

Demonstrated expertise in the procurement of oil and gas equipment, materials, and specialized technical services is required.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management capabilities are essential.
