The successful candidate will conduct thorough inspections, rigorous testing, routine maintenance, and certification of all Pressure Safety Valves across upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities, ensuring full adherence to DPR/NU PRC regulations, API standards, and the company’s HSE protocols. Experts must disassemble components, sanitize surfaces, and refurbish valve internals—including seats, springs, bellows, and O-rings—from manufacturers such as Crosby, Anderson Greenwood, Laser, and Harris.
Execute urgent repairs promptly during unexpected shutdowns to prevent incurring flaring penalties.
We conduct rigorous testing and certification processes to ensure product quality, compliance, and safety. This role requires a meticulous approach to evaluating specifications, identifying potential defects, and verifying adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include performing detailed inspections, documenting test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant testing methodologies. Experience with certification frameworks and quality assurance best practices is highly desirable.
Conduct statutory Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) testing and recertification in compliance with NU PRC Guidelines and API 576 standards, adhering to intervals that generally range from 12 to 36 months based on operational service conditions.
Perform both bench testing and in-situ testing utilizing deadweight testers and portable pop testers across FPS Os, flow stations, refineries, and gas plants.
Prepare and distribute PSV certification tags that meet the standards set by NU PRC and are recognized by third-party inspectors.
Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory compliance remains a critical responsibility. This role demands a thorough understanding of applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements. Proficiency in HSE management systems and relevant certifications is highly desirable.

Profile
Minimum qualification includes an ND or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a polytechnic accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NOTE), with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree preferred for IOC positions.
API 510 or API 570 certification is required, while SOVIET and DUET qualifications are essential for offshore positions. Holding a CORE registration is considered beneficial.
8+ years of specialized experience in oil and gas, with a minimum of six years dedicated to PSV maintenance. Prior exposure to FASO or LNG operations is considered advantageous.
