Collaborate effectively with the Head of Department and Partner in Charge to oversee and execute audit engagements seamlessly.
Craft proposals and partner with the business development team to secure new engagements.
Drive revenue growth to meet predetermined financial objectives.
Conduct audit engagements in strict adherence to international standards and the firm’s established quality control protocols.
You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members while enhancing their professional skills through practical, hands-on experiences as well as structured technical training sessions.
You will play a key role in producing departmental deliverables, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as annual work plans, while also partnering with cross-functional teams on initiatives tied to communication strategies and marketing campaigns.
Supervise and oversee audit engagements, while conducting thorough reviews of both subordinates’ work and the entirety of each audit engagement.
Prepare and distribute reports in a timely manner for review by senior management.
The ideal candidate must meet the following essential qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related industry, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Additionally, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is a plus.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience attained after obtaining the necessary qualifications.
Qualification as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or holding an equivalent credential is required.
Other prerequisites include possessing a valid driver’s license and a spotless driving record, demonstrating proficiency in written and verbal communication, and maintaining the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently. Familiarity with basic computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, is required, along with demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for multitasking. Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential, as are the capacity to work under pressure and adaptability to evolving priorities. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience successfully managing a minimum of seven category A clients over a two-year period.
Proven expertise in accounting and auditing standards is required.
Proficiency in conducting audits across diverse industries and sectors is essential.
Exceptional communication abilities are required, encompassing strong oral and written skills, along with proficient report writing and presentation expertise.
