The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and directing several audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to Dexia Nigeria’s clients.
Job Description
Collaborate effectively with the Head of Department and the Partner in Charge to oversee and execute audit engagements seamlessly.
Compose proposals and coordinate efforts with the business development team to secure new engagements.
Expeditiously attain predetermined revenue objectives by implementing strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Conduct audit engagements in accordance with international standards and the firm’s established quality control protocols.
You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior team members to enhance their professional skills through hands-on guidance and structured technical training sessions.
Support the creation of departmental outputs, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as annual work plans, while partnering with other teams on communication and marketing initiatives.
Oversee audit engagements while conducting evaluations of both individual subordinates and complete audit engagements.
Prepare and distribute reports promptly for review by senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++. Minimum of three years of professional software development experience. Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, or microservices architectures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
A relevant qualification, such as a degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline, is required.
With a minimum of seven years of post-qualification professional experience, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of expertise in their field.
Qualification as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or recognition of an equivalent credential is required.
Candidates must meet several essential criteria to be considered for this opportunity. These include possessing a valid driver’s license in good standing, maintaining a clean driving record free of violations, and demonstrating the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Demonstrates a consistent track record of successfully managing a minimum of seven Category A clients over a two-year period.

Exceptional proficiency in communication, encompassing oral, written, report development, and presentation skills, is required.
Remaining current with evolving industry trends, regulatory updates, and professional guidelines is essential.
Demonstrates unwavering dedication and a well-established history of delivering outstanding professional and client service excellence.
Analytical thinking is required, along with the capacity to interpret critical data.
Proficient in IT systems with strong working knowledge of Caneware, Microsoft Office Suite, and other essential IT applications.
