Job Summary:

The Legal Officer will assist the Legal Services Department by delivering specialized legal services, including ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, mitigating legal risks, and facilitating mortgage and loan-related transactions. Responsibilities encompass the drafting and assessment of legal and contractual documents, handling dispute resolution, and coordinating with external legal counsel regarding due diligence, title perfection, mortgage registration, and litigation matters.

Legal Counsel & Regulatory Compliance

Processes a wide range of mortgage and loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing loan documentation, verifying borrower information, and coordinating with underwriters, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth closings. Maintains meticulous records, tracks transaction progress, and resolves discrepancies promptly.
