Summary

The Civil Site Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily construction operations, guaranteeing high-quality execution, optimal resource allocation, strict adherence to project specifications, and punctual completion of civil works.

Direct oversight of heavy construction equipment operations is required, alongside tracking and evaluating daily productivity metrics to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Execute and manage earthworks activities such as cut-and-fill operations, grading, leveling, dressing, and slope formation.

Prepare construction sites meticulously by marking and setting out areas in strict alignment with approved drawings and project specifications to ensure precise execution.

Oversee all phases of construction projects, from laying the foundation through to final completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Oversee drainage operations and Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) works while ensuring strict adherence to established quality benchmarks.

Oversee the verification and management of bar bending schedules, shuttering works, structural layouts, surveying activities, and geometric alignments.

Optimize the allocation and efficiency of labor, materials, and machinery to meet and exceed project goals effectively.

Handle workforce and subcontractor-related challenges, elevating significant issues to the Site Engineer or Area Manager for resolution.

Assist the Quality Department by performing material testing, collecting concrete samples, and conducting quality inspections.

Oversee and guarantee the secure and effective implementation of all on-site operations.

Compile and update daily labor reports and site progress documentation with accuracy and consistency.

Collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and delivery.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with proficiency in project management software and strong analytical skills. Ideal applicants will possess at least three years of experience in a similar role, coupled with excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are essential. Additionally, the role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to mentor junior staff members effectively.

A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in buildings, roads, and earthworks projects. Familiarity with industrial construction projects, including warehouses, equipment foundations, substations, and electrical buildings, is highly beneficial, particularly in roles such as Site Engineer or Project Engineer.

Proven expertise in civil construction, earthworks, building construction, and infrastructure projects is required.

Proficient understanding of slope stability principles, earthmoving techniques including cut-and-fill operations, drainage system design and implementation, and established construction methodologies.

Demonstrates advanced skills in AutoCAD and construction planning, with a strong ability to develop and execute detailed designs and schedules.

Adept at conceptual thinking, leadership, and resolving complex issues.

Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proficient in analyzing and comprehending engineering drawings and technical specifications is essential.

Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities are essential for this role.
