Perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on diesel generators and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Perform regular maintenance and repair work on Ring Main Units to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on high-tension (H.T.) and low-tension (L.T.) circuit breakers to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Operate all powerhouse equipment and apparatus efficiently and safely, ensuring compliance with operational protocols and industry standards.
Provide support during the installation and commissioning phases of newly acquired equipment.
Provide support in the routine upkeep and operational servicing of all powerhouse machinery and systems.
Execute any additional assignments as directed by the Supervisor to support operational objectives and team goals.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal applicant must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in project management or a closely related discipline. Strong proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms, is essential. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are required to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. Certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is highly desirable.
An associate diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required, along with at least four years of hands-on experience in a comparable capacity within an organized environment. Proficiency in Trade Test levels 1 and 2, as well as additional relevant certifications, is highly advantageous.
