Job Summary

The organization is actively seeking a proactive HR Manager to lead and implement effective people management strategies across all levels of the business.

The position necessitates an HR professional with extensive expertise as a generalist, specifically in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development, coupled with the capacity to establish frameworks, optimize processes, and elevate workforce efficiency.

Oversee a range of critical duties including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation within the department. Monitor performance metrics to assess progress and address any deviations from established goals. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear communication and fostering strong professional relationships.

Spearhead comprehensive recruitment initiatives from start to finish, focusing on engaging and securing exceptional candidates for long-term retention.

Implement and oversee the execution of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and operational processes throughout the entire organization.

Manage the full employee lifecycle, encompassing onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding procedures, ensuring compliance and a seamless experience at each stage.

Design and execute strategic programs aimed at enhancing employee performance and fostering engagement.

Develop and nurture robust connections with employees to cultivate trust and foster a productive, uplifting workplace atmosphere.

Oversee and refine HR processes to optimize efficiency and bolster organizational performance.

Oversee the preparation of HR reports, analyze workforce data, and maintain organizational structures across various business locations.

Assist organizational leaders in enhancing productivity, fostering a positive work culture, and improving overall team performance.

Maintain adherence to all applicable labor regulations, organizational policies, and leading human resources standards.

Offer strategic counsel to leadership regarding human resources initiatives and organizational growth strategies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Python, Java, or C++.

• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

• Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and big data technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Passion for learning new technologies and driving innovation in software solutions.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three to five years of experience in a leadership role within human resources.

Professional HR certification, such as CPM, SHAM, RCI, or an equivalent credential, would be considered an asset.

Proficiency in travel, hospitality, aviation, or service-focused sectors would be highly beneficial.

Experienced in talent acquisition, employee development, and human resources administrative functions.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms is essential.

Demonstrates a strong track record in implementing and advancing people processes and organizational development strategies.

Exceptional ability to connect with others and cultivate meaningful professional relationships, demonstrating adept interpersonal skills and expertise in relationship management.

Proficiency in Nigerian labor laws alongside adherence to HR compliance standards is essential.

Candidates with a proven track record in overseeing HR functions across various business sites will be given preference.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and autonomous decision-making.

Proven capability to establish trust, engage stakeholders effectively, and enhance employee performance.
