Project Overview: This initiative encompasses a comprehensive range of tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables aimed at achieving specific organizational objectives. The scope includes all necessary activities, resources, and timelines required to successfully complete the project in alignment with strategic goals. Key stakeholders will collaborate to ensure efficient execution, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of outcomes. The project may involve cross-functional team coordination, stakeholder communication, and the integration of best practices to optimize results. All identified requirements, constraints, and dependencies will be systematically addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

This initiative aims to engage persons with disabilities, their family members, and other community stakeholders, alongside state and local government entities such as ministries, departments, and agencies, Civil Society Organizations—including Organization of People with Disabilities (Odds)—women and girls, community health workers, and broader community members in Kofi State.

This initiative is designed to enhance the capabilities of Odds, CSOs, FBS, government stakeholders, and media platforms in Kofi State by equipping them to comprehend and apply disability law through a well-organized, multi-sectoral, and community-driven inclusive development strategy, thereby reinforcing awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

Finance Officer Position Overview: This role encompasses comprehensive financial management responsibilities, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budget development, and expenditure monitoring. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in financial software and strong analytical skills are essential. Duties also involve ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, providing strategic financial guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.

Maintain accurate financial and accounting records as well as the project’s accounting system.

Ensure strict adherence to the financial stipulations outlined in the contract to maintain regulatory and organizational compliance.

Oversee fund allocation and track budgetary expenditures to ensure optimal financial management.

Process all financial transactions related to activities, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of funds in accordance with established budgets and payment schedules.

Represent the organization in finance and fund management meetings, serving as its official delegate and liaison to ensure effective communication and alignment with strategic objectives.

Compile and deliver financial reports punctually according to established deadlines.

As an integral member of the administrative team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities. Your role will involve managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to enhance productivity. Proficiency in office software, exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential requirements for this position. Essential

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, complemented by a minimum of two years of professional experience following qualification, is required.

Seasoned professionals with a strong background in financial software applications, such as QuickBooks and Promise, are sought after for this role. Proven expertise in data analysis and quantitative reasoning, with a strong aptitude for interpreting complex information and applying numerical methodologies.
