Job Summary
In this role, your primary responsibilities include overseeing precise financial record-keeping, facilitating financial reporting, and conducting thorough reconciliations while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal company policies within a dynamic FMCG setting.
We are responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Our role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Additionally, we monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to manage workflows and maintain team coordination. Regular reporting to senior management and adherence to company policies are also key components of this position.
Ensure precise accounting records are maintained and execute financial transactions in strict adherence to established company policies.
Compile financial reports, including bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and other necessary documentation, ensuring they are completed and submitted promptly.
Facilitate accounts payable and receivable operations by maintaining accurate documentation and meticulous record-keeping practices.
Provide support for the preparation and compilation of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Verify adherence to all statutory, tax-related, and internal control obligations.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
Accumulated a minimum of three years of accounting experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, or closely related industries.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software or ERP systems, including the ability to navigate and utilize these tools effectively for data analysis, reporting, and financial management tasks.
Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting standards.
Candidates currently based in Papa and its surrounding areas will be given priority consideration.
