Perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on diesel generators and related equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on Ring Main Units to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on high-tension (H.T.) and low-tension (L.T.) circuit breakers to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
Operate all machinery and apparatus within the powerhouse facility.
Provide support during the installation and commissioning phases of newly acquired equipment.
Assists in the upkeep and operational maintenance of all powerhouse equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability through routine servicing and troubleshooting.
Execute all additional responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor to support operational objectives.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following professional qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required, and prior leadership or project management experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are necessary to convey ideas clearly and interact effectively with stakeholders.
Holders of an Ordinary National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, supported by at least four years of hands-on experience in a comparable capacity within an organized setting, are encouraged to apply.
