With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in credit risk or underwriting within a licensed microfinance bank or non-bank financial institution (BFI) in Nigeria, candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of the sector’s regulatory and operational landscape.
Proficient in applying CBN Prudential Guidelines and conducting comprehensive credit bureau analysis.
Proficient in Excel at an advanced level and experienced with loan management systems are required for this position.
Highly principled and analytical, with a strong capacity to make critical risk determinations under pressure.
