Key Deliverables
Collaborate with Civil Engineering and Survey teams to guarantee the timely completion and successful delivery of civil engineering and survey projects, meeting all specified objectives.
Qualified personnel must utilize appropriate tools to oversee operations in compliance with established engineering standards of practice, conducting thorough physical inspections and reviewing plans or designs to confirm that all work adheres strictly to approved specifications.
Oversee critical operational functions and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and execute comprehensive plans that enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance across departments. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvements. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead cross-functional teams to drive project completion, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while maintaining high ethical standards. Offer a comprehensive update on civil works progress during monthly departmental meetings, emphasizing adherence to quality standards, timely completion, and efficient execution.
Demonstrate cost-saving strategies to achieve and maintain a minimum 15% reduction in operational expenses relative to the allocated project budget.
Conduct assessments of subcontractors for civil engineering and survey projects across all categories, then prepare and submit a detailed report to the Civil and Survey Manager for final review.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to evaluate designs and drawings, confirming that the deliverables meet functional and practical requirements.
Responsibilities include overseeing budget allocations and project resources, with direct reporting to the Civil and Survey Manager.
Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with stakeholders and external entities while providing regular updates and constructive feedback.
Responsible parties must be instructed to maintain and secure civil and survey equipment and tools both during and after operations.
The candidate will participate in the development of civil engineering and survey tender documentation and subsequently submit these documents to the Civil/Survey Manager for final approval.
Interface with contractors executing Oiler civil and survey projects to guarantee compliance with quality standards and timely project delivery.
To collaborate with on-site Supervisors in monitoring the availability and status of civil and survey equipment and instruments.
Present the status of all civil and survey equipment during the monthly departmental project review meetings.
Ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, health protocols, safety measures, and environmental regulations remains a core responsibility of this role. The position demands meticulous attention to regulatory compliance, proactive risk mitigation, and the implementation of best practices to uphold organizational excellence in these critical areas.
Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and all relevant legal requirements across Oiler’s business operations.

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong educational background in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, along with proven experience in project management or related roles. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Familiarity with data analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar capacity is required, along with relevant certifications or advanced degrees preferred.
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering is required.
A valid CORE registration is required for this position.
Additional engineering certifications or memberships in professional engineering bodies will be viewed favorably.
Requires a minimum of 15 years of hands-on involvement in civil engineering projects, with demonstrated expertise across various domains of the field.
With a minimum of five years of dedicated experience in civil engineering and surveying within the Oil and Gas sector, candidates should demonstrate a strong background in these specialized fields.
