JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will spearhead sales and business expansion initiatives for solar energy solutions and real estate investments. This position encompasses prospecting new business avenues, nurturing client connections, performing site evaluations, and finalizing lucrative agreements within these industries.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties aligned with the role’s core objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Duties include managing key projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in all deliverables. Additionally, monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, provide updates on progress, and ensure seamless integration of initiatives. Maintain meticulous documentation, adhere to compliance protocols, and contribute to strategic planning to support long-term success.
Facilitate the expansion of solar energy solutions and real estate properties through strategic sales initiatives.
Evaluate and establish emerging market prospects spanning both industry segments.
Drive revenue expansion and meet established sales targets through strategic execution and performance optimization.
Develop and nurture client relationships throughout the entire sales cycle, beginning with lead generation and culminating in deal closure.
Perform on-site evaluations, conduct thorough property inspections, and carry out essential technical assessments.
Craft detailed proposals for solar initiatives and real estate investment ventures.
Work collaboratively with technical and project teams to guarantee timely and effective delivery of solutions.
Oversee the sales pipeline, compile reports, and monitor performance metrics to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of sales activities.
Represent the organization in client engagements and sector-specific conferences to enhance corporate visibility and foster strategic relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven track record of 5+ years in software development, with expertise in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. Ability to design scalable, high-performance software solutions.
A degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
We seek candidates with three to five years of experience in sales or business development, with a preference for those with backgrounds in renewable energy or real estate.
Proficiency in the mechanics of solar systems or the intricacies of real estate investment procedures is essential.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales objectives and securing agreements with clients.
Demonstrated proficiency in effective communication, adept negotiation capabilities, and the ability to cultivate and maintain robust client relationships.
Proven capability to effectively oversee and prioritize a diverse portfolio of sales opportunities simultaneously.
Demonstrates openness to travel as needed for on-site evaluations and client engagements.
