Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The Accounting Supervisor oversees all financial and accounting operations tied to the pure water production business, guaranteeing precise financial reporting, disciplined cost management, meticulous inventory tracking, and adherence to both company policies and legal mandates.

Core responsibilities include executing key operational tasks, managing project timelines, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency, and maintaining accurate documentation of all activities. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Oversee the daily accounting functions for the pure water manufacturing and distribution enterprise, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.

Track and document every sales transaction generated from the production and distribution of sachet water.

Oversee the receipt and management of cash payments from distributors, vendors, and sales agents to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Maintain precise records of every expense, purchase, and operational cost incurred.

Accurately document production expenditures, raw material consumption, packaging supplies, and inventory utilization to ensure precise record-keeping.

Monitor and track inventory levels for nylon rolls, bags, treatment chemicals, labels, fuel, and various other production materials to ensure adequate supply for operations.

Prepare daily reconciliations of sales, cash deposits, and bank transactions.

Compile and submit financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for management’s evaluation and strategic decision-making purposes.

You are responsible for monitoring and recording factory operational expenditures, such as diesel fuel, generator maintenance, repair costs, transportation expenses, and staff-related expenditures.

Review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and process payments in accordance with established procedures.

Oversee accounts receivable operations and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from distributors and customers.

Support management by developing budgets, conducting cost analyses, and preparing profitability reports.

Accurate preparation of payroll for both factory personnel and administrative employees must be ensured.

Develop and enforce robust internal financial controls aimed at mitigating the risks of fraud, inefficiencies, and financial leakages.

Oversee the execution of regular stock counts and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation.

Ensure adherence to tax laws, statutory withholdings, and established financial protocols.

Collaborate with external auditors by furnishing all necessary accounting documentation to facilitate their review processes.

Oversee the work of junior accounting and cashier staff to maintain adherence to established financial procedures and protocols.

Evaluate production and sales data to enhance profitability and streamline operational effectiveness.

Ensure the strict confidentiality of all company financial data at all times.

Assist management with additional finance and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education requirements include possession of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor of Science (BSC) degree in a relevant field.

With a minimum of two years and up to a decade of hands-on experience in both accounting and warehouse operations, the compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s level of expertise.

Computer literacy includes proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, alongside adeptness with digital communication and collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, and Zoom.

Individuals must have their primary residence within the Aba area.
