What You’ll Do:
Oversee financial documentation and prepare comprehensive reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the management of accounts receivable and payables to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. Track outstanding invoices, verify payments received, and reconcile discrepancies as needed. Monitor vendor payments to maintain strong supplier relationships and avoid late fees or penalties. Review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take corrective action to expedite collections or resolve payment delays. Maintain meticulous records of all financial activities to support audits and financial reporting.
Assist with inventory management and cost accounting procedures to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Ensure the precision and integrity of ERP Next transactions and reporting.
Provide support in conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective financial controls.
What We’re Looking For:
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in accounting is required.
Demonstrates a solid grasp of financial reporting principles and reconciliation procedures.
Proficiency in ERP Next or comparable ERP/accounting software is required, along with relevant hands-on experience to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Proficiency in inventory accounting principles and distribution logistics is required.
Skilled in Excel, analytical thinking, and problem resolution are essential.
