Position Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary responsibility involves safeguarding the delivery of top-tier, dependable software solutions across a diverse range of projects.
The successful applicant will be tasked with executing pre-launch testing procedures to validate software functionality and alignment with client expectations.
You will develop and implement structured testing methodologies, encompassing functional, non-functional, and regression testing, while documenting defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely resolution and uphold product quality standards.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including but not limited to managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance while maintaining a strong focus on quality and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for enhancement, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving. Maintain meticulous documentation, track project milestones, and report on outcomes to ensure transparency and accountability in all endeavors.
Deliver robust, high-performing applications by maintaining stringent quality standards across web, mobile, and API platforms.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of test strategies that are in sync with product specifications and organizational objectives.
Execute test cases, compile and distribute test reports, and provide clear, actionable insights to product and business stakeholders regarding testing outcomes.
Perform comprehensive API testing using industry-standard tools like Postman or equivalent platforms.
Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of automated test scripts while running automated test suites.
Execute performance, load, and security assessments to evaluate system functionality, detect operational inefficiencies, and pinpoint potential security risks.
Log, track, and manage defects with precision using tools such as Jira and Trello, guaranteeing comprehensive and meticulous documentation at every stage.
Compose and distribute detailed test execution reports that encompass status updates, summaries of identified defects, test coverage assessments, and quality metrics.
Deliver comprehensive analyses regarding product quality, identify potential risks and obstacles, and assist in determining the preparedness for release.
Work collaboratively with product managers and developers to gain a comprehensive understanding of product requirements and design specifications.
Engage actively in Agile practices, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective reviews to foster continuous improvement and alignment with project objectives.
