Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the management of daily operations, leadership of cross-functional teams, and execution of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with broader company goals, ensuring seamless integration of policies and procedures. Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and performance across all operational areas. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, stakeholders, and external partners, facilitating effective communication and fostering collaborative relationships. Prepare and present detailed reports to executive leadership, outlining performance metrics, project updates, and strategic recommendations. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, promote professional development, and cultivate a high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities include instructing students in English Language for Key Stage 3, IGCSE, BEE, WAEC, and NECK curricula, as applicable.

Deliver comprehensive preparation for both internal and external assessments to ensure student success.

Enhance students’ mastery of grammar, writing skills, reading comprehension, literary analysis, public speaking, and analytical reasoning.

Craft and execute lesson plans that conform to the educational standards of both the British and Nigerian curricula.

To evaluate student progress and apply targeted intervention measures as needed.

Leverage educational technology and digital resources to enrich instructional methods and bolster student learning outcomes.

Collaborate on the design and enhancement of academic programs and strategic projects aimed at advancing departmental objectives.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Education, Linguistics, English Literature, or a closely related field is required.

A minimum of three years of effective secondary school teaching experience is required.

Experienced in guiding students through WAEC, NECK, Checkpoint, IGCSE, or comparable academic assessments.

Proficient in subject expertise coupled with exceptional communication abilities.

Able to maintain a well-organized and productive classroom environment while fostering active student participation and motivation.

Highly proficient in educational technology and digital assessment platforms, with extensive experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, interactive classroom technologies, and AI-driven instructional tools.

Postgraduate qualifications and TRCN certification are highly advantageous.
