About the Role

We are in search of a meticulous and organized Inventory & Storekeeper to oversee the hotel’s inventory management, store operations, and stock control procedures.

The ideal candidate will oversee the seamless receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of all hotel supplies, ensuring meticulous inventory records are maintained.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties, ensuring seamless execution of core functions and strategic initiatives to drive organizational success. Develop, implement, and monitor processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with established policies and industry regulations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives, foster innovation, and achieve measurable growth targets. Provide leadership in identifying opportunities for improvement, optimizing resource allocation, and mitigating risks to uphold operational excellence. Upon receipt, meticulously examine and authenticate all incoming merchandise and materials to ensure they meet specified standards and quantities.

Ensure precise documentation of inventory levels and track stock movements meticulously.

Oversee inventory levels diligently and coordinate the timely restocking of products to prevent shortages.

Distribute materials and supplies to departments in alignment with approved requisitions.

Perform routine stock counts and execute periodic inventory audits to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate organization, proper identification, and careful preservation of all inventory items within designated storage areas.

Monitor and document instances of damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Perform reconciliation between physical inventory counts and the corresponding records maintained in the inventory management system.

Work collaboratively with the Procurement and Finance teams to maintain precise inventory records.

Ensure all store areas are consistently clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.

Compile and present inventory data in the form of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for executive review.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are necessary to convey insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Applicants must hold an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline.
