Deliver comprehensive English language instruction to students spanning Key Stage 3, IGCSE, BEE, WAEC, and NECK curricula, as required.
Effectively equip students to excel in both internal and external assessments.
Enhance students’ mastery of grammar, writing, comprehension, literary appreciation, public speaking, and critical thinking skills.
Design and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of both the British and Nigerian curriculum frameworks, ensuring adherence to established educational standards.
Assess student progress systematically and apply targeted intervention measures as needed to support academic achievement.
Leverage educational technology and digital resources to elevate the quality of teaching and learning experiences.
Play a key role in shaping and enhancing curriculum design and supporting departmental advancement efforts.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, Linguistics, Literature in English, or a closely aligned field is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated success in secondary education is required.
Seasoned educators with a proven track record in guiding students to success in WAEC, NECK, Checkpoint, IGCSE, or comparable standardized examinations are encouraged to apply.
Proven expertise in relevant subject areas, coupled with exceptional ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
Demonstrates exceptional skills in maintaining classroom order and fostering active student participation.
Highly proficient in educational technology, digital assessment tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, interactive classroom technologies, and AI-supported instructional tools is essential.
Candidates possessing TRCN certification and postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favorably.
Highly motivated individuals with exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
