Job Summary
As a Business Developer on Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, your core responsibility will involve spearheading business expansion by uncovering new opportunities, onboarding high-quality merchants, and equipping agents and merchants with essential product knowledge to bolster adoption.
Responsibilities for this position include collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. The role entails managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout each phase of development. Additionally, the position requires overseeing workflow processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements, and providing mentorship to junior team members to foster professional growth. Proficiency in relevant software tools and a commitment to continuous learning are essential to excel in this role.
Market Research & Outreach: Pinpoint and engage high-priority merchants across diverse market segments to promote PWT offerings, including merchant loans, partnerships, and digital payment solutions. Utilize multiple outreach channels—such as online listings, industry conferences, and referral networks—to identify and connect with potential collaborators.
Initiate outreach to prospective clients to cultivate relationships, foster strong connections, and arrange meetings or product demonstrations to effectively showcase the advantages of adopting Palm Pay’s full range of solutions.
We perform detailed evaluations of clients’ business operations, payment systems, and areas of difficulty to pinpoint precise requirements and obstacles, subsequently delivering customized solutions.
Craft compelling, tailored presentations to effectively showcase Palm Pay’s services, emphasizing their key features, functionalities, and potential return on investment, specifically designed to align with the distinct needs of each merchant, including Key and High-quality merchants.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, long-term connections with pivotal decision-makers in client organizations by showcasing expertise, dependability, and prompt communication.
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements to finalize deals successfully while ensuring both parties are satisfied and company policies are strictly followed.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to resolve client inquiries, provide expert technical guidance, and facilitate the smooth deployment of selected services.
