Job Summary
A highly motivated and outcome-driven Sales and Marketing Executive is required to spearhead business expansion initiatives across Bayes and Barri.
The ideal candidate will proactively uncover emerging market opportunities, cultivate and maintain strong client connections, implement strategic sales initiatives, and enhance regional brand impact.
Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency, maintaining adherence to established protocols and performance standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to align objectives, resolve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators to assess productivity, quality, and compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and collaboration among staff through mentorship, feedback, and recognition programs. Manage resource allocation, budget oversight, and strategic planning to support organizational goals while optimizing operational costs and scalability. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies through regular audits, training, and policy enforcement.
Leverage market opportunities within Bayes and Barri to cultivate new business avenues, thereby broadening the customer base and enhancing revenue streams.
Forge and sustain enduring, high-value partnerships with pivotal clients, wholesalers, and distributors to bolster customer retention and satisfaction.
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve or surpass defined sales objectives while maintaining consistent product accessibility and prominence throughout the designated territory.
Analyze market trends, track competitor actions, and observe customer behavior to generate practical insights that enhance sales and marketing strategies.
Execute product demonstrations, organize regional tours, and engage in marketing initiatives to elevate product visibility and drive revenue growth.
Deliver precise and up-to-date reports to management regarding sales performance, market developments, inventory status, and customer feedback.
Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to facilitate the prompt delivery of products and address client concerns effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in software development or a related role. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in field sales roles, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or the food manufacturing sector, is essential.
Expertise in Lagos’ market dynamics and its varied distribution networks is essential.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively, articulate ideas clearly, and resolve conflicts through strategic negotiation.
Capable of working autonomously while maintaining strong organizational skills and effective time management.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and fundamental reporting tools is required.
The ideal candidate must maintain residence in Bayes and Barri.
