Job Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and success-driven Sales and Marketing Executive to spearhead business expansion across Bayes and Barri.
The ideal candidate will identify emerging market opportunities, cultivate and oversee client relationships, implement strategic sales initiatives, and enhance regional brand performance.
Develops and implements comprehensive plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges, fostering continuous improvement. Monitors performance metrics and key indicators to evaluate progress toward goals, recommending adjustments as necessary. Oversees the allocation of resources, including budget and personnel, to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Facilitates training and professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement. Maintains open communication channels to address concerns and provide updates to stakeholders at all levels.
In the Bayes and Barri markets, explore and cultivate fresh business prospects to broaden the customer base and enhance revenue generation.
Forge and nurture enduring, high-value partnerships with pivotal clients, wholesalers, and distributors to elevate customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Develop and execute sales strategies designed to surpass established sales targets, while maintaining a steady supply of products and enhancing their visibility throughout the assigned territory.
Analyze market trends, assess competitor actions, and evaluate customer behavior to deliver data-driven insights that enhance sales and marketing initiatives.
Deliver engaging product presentations, organize and execute roadshows, and take part in promotional initiatives with the goal of enhancing product visibility and driving sales growth.
Compile and deliver precise, up-to-date reports on sales performance, market trends, inventory status, and customer feedback for executive review.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to facilitate the prompt delivery of products and address client concerns effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Minimum of five years of professional experience in software development is essential. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++ is mandatory. Experience with database management systems, including SQL, is also necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are crucial. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
OND, HND, or B.Sc. degrees in Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline are required.
We are seeking candidates with at least two years of hands-on experience in field sales, ideally in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or food manufacturing sectors.
Possesses extensive familiarity with Lagos’ market landscape and its intricate distribution networks.
Skilled in fostering strong relationships, conveying ideas with clarity, and effectively mediating discussions to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
Demonstrates strong self-motivation and exceptional time-management skills to complete tasks without direct supervision.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and foundational reporting tools is required.
Candidates should maintain primary residency in Bayes and Barri.
