This executive leadership position entails complete accountability for the successful execution of large-scale road construction initiatives, spanning from initial site setup to completion and final project turnover.
This position holds complete responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of programs, managing cost efficiency, upholding quality standards, maintaining HSE compliance, overseeing client relations, and administering contracts within major infrastructure projects.
You will oversee cross-functional site teams, coordinate project schedules, supervise construction activities, monitor project expenditures, and enforce adherence to approved designs, specifications, and contractual terms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 3 years specializing in mobile application development.
• Proficiency in modern mobile platforms, including iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java), with a strong grasp of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, offline data synchronization, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and adherence to agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs, as well as a solid understanding of mobile app security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency for enhanced user experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, such as a B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND, is required for this position.
CORE registration constitutes an essential requirement for this position.
With over fifteen years of dedicated expertise in managing road and civil infrastructure projects, candidates should possess extensive experience in overseeing large-scale initiatives within these domains.
Delivered major road infrastructure projects exceeding 5 kilometers in length or valued at over 500 million dollars.
Seasoned professional with a robust background in program management, hands-on site execution, and precise project controls.
Comprehensive commercial insight is essential, encompassing an understanding of variations, valuations, and the management of Employee Ownership Trusts (Lots).
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing MS Project or Primavera P6 is essential for this role.
Proficiency in PMP or PRINCE2 certification would be beneficial to your application.
