This senior leadership position entails complete accountability for overseeing major road construction projects, encompassing all phases from initial site setup and mobilization through to project execution and ultimate project handover.
This position holds complete responsibility for overseeing program execution, financial performance, quality standards, HSE adherence, client relations, and contract management within major infrastructure projects.
You will oversee cross-functional site teams, coordinate project timelines, oversee construction activities, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and contractual terms.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng., B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering is required for this position.
CORE registration constitutes a compulsory requirement for this position.
With a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, you have managed road or civil infrastructure projects extensively.
Demonstrated success in executing large-scale road infrastructure projects, specifically those exceeding 5 kilometers in length or valued at over 500 million.
Experienced in overseeing program management, site execution, and project controls, with a proven track record in delivering complex initiatives efficiently.
Comprehensive commercial understanding encompassing market variations, asset valuations, and Employee Ownership Trust (NOT) administration is essential.
Skilled in utilizing MS Project or Primavera P6 is required.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification is considered a valuable asset.
