The Research Associate (RA) will spearhead data collection and management initiatives for research projects conducted within the Nigeria Country Office, reporting directly to the Research Manager.
The Research Assistant (RA) will oversee field staff, encompassing field managers, supervisors, and enumerators, and ensure deliverables are submitted to donors and partners in a timely manner.

Develop survey instruments within Survey CTO while adhering to established programming best practices.
Ensuring the integrity and precision of data collection processes through vigilant supervision and monitoring.
Develop and execute comprehensive data quality validation processes to identify and resolve discrepancies within the collected datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the data collection phase.
Overseeing project financial management entails developing and maintaining budgets, meticulously tracking expenditures, and producing accurate financial reports.
Ensuring the continuous accuracy and integrity of data through regular maintenance and updates.
Partner Engagement: You will cultivate and sustain strategic alliances with key partners to drive mutual growth and innovation. Managing routine communications with Principal Investigators (PI’s) and external partners is a key responsibility of this role.

The incumbent will ensure the Research Manager is fully informed of all project developments and act as the primary liaison between field staff, the research team, and Principal Investigators.
Provides technical leadership to drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Guides cross-functional teams through complex technical challenges, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Establishes and maintains high technical standards, mentors engineers, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Develop training resources and coordinate with the survey firm to facilitate enumerator training and pilot instrument implementation.

The role involves regular travel, with trips expected approximately twice a month. Employees must maintain a valid passport and be prepared to travel on short notice. Reimbursement for travel expenses will follow company policy, and all itineraries must be approved in advance.
During data collection phases, you should anticipate dedicating a minimum of 50% of your time to on-site activities at the study locations.
