Job Summary

The Dialysis Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care to individuals receiving dialysis treatment. This position encompasses the oversight of the complete dialysis procedure, prioritizing patient safety at every stage, while working closely with the healthcare team to achieve optimal clinical results.

Oversee and execute core duties essential to the role, including but not limited to project management, stakeholder coordination, and process optimization. Drive initiatives that align with organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. Prepare comprehensive reports, analyze performance metrics, and present findings to leadership to inform strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices throughout all operations. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering clear communication and accountability to achieve collective goals.

Oversee patients at every stage of the dialysis procedure, beginning with their admission and continuing through to their discharge.

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care that is both safe and tailored to meet individual patient needs.

Collaborate effectively with the Head Nurse and the medical team to manage clinical procedures and respond to emergencies.

Accurately coordinate patient appointments and maintain seamless daily operational workflows to uphold efficiency and service excellence.

Maintain and update patient records in accordance with the hospital’s IT systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.

Facilitate the orientation and skill development of newly hired nursing personnel to ensure seamless integration into the healthcare team.

Collaborate on outreach initiatives designed to enhance the visibility and recognition of the dialysis center within the community.

Ensure strict compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory mandates to maintain operational integrity and patient well-being.

Execute other responsibilities as directed by leadership when necessary.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is an essential requirement for this position.

A Registered Nurse (RN) holding registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Applicants must possess at least two years of hands-on experience in dialysis or a comparable specialized field.

Proven expertise in the execution of dialysis treatments and comprehensive patient management is required.
