The LPG Regional Technician is tasked with overseeing the secure, effective, and regulation-compliant technical performance of LPG facilities throughout the northern region. This position prioritizes maximizing plant availability, maintaining equipment reliability, enforcing safety protocols, and promptly addressing technical issues within LPG storage, distribution, and safety infrastructure.
Oversee a range of critical tasks encompassing operational oversight, strategic planning, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Ensure the consistent, safe, and efficient functioning of LPG plant operations on a daily basis, maintaining the reliability and operational readiness of all equipment and systems.
Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on LPG infrastructure, such as pumps, compressors, dispensers, and storage tanks, to ensure operational reliability and safety.
Promptly identify and address mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
Ensure rigorous compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, LPG safety standards, and all relevant regulatory mandates.
Perform regular safety audits while actively pinpointing and addressing potential operational risks and hazards to ensure a secure working environment.
Responsible for ensuring the precision and currency of technical documentation, encompassing maintenance logs, equipment performance records, and incident reports.
Compile and deliver accurate reports on plant performance metrics, downtime evaluations, and maintenance operations in a timely manner.
Assist with the setup, activation, and dismantling of LPG systems and accompanying facilities.
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and consumables to sustain uninterrupted and high-performance plant operations.
Deliver technical assistance and real-time direction to station personnel while collaborating with key stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
