Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will oversee quality assurance processes to guarantee that our products and services consistently meet or exceed industry-leading standards. This position demands a meticulous professional with exceptional analytical abilities, proven leadership qualities, and a commitment to advancing quality excellence. Duties include establishing, refining, and executing robust quality control policies, procedures, and benchmarks while cultivating an organizational ethos of ongoing enhancement and operational refinement.

Key Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, overseeing cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals, and analyzing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the role involves managing stakeholder relationships, coordinating departmental activities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. The position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making to drive sustainable growth and innovation within the organization.

Establish, execute, and oversee quality control policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to industry regulations and standards.

Responsible for supervising the quality inspection process for all products, guaranteeing compliance with established requirements prior to customer delivery.

Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to diagnose quality issues and execute corrective measures.

Perform systematic reviews and assessments of manufacturing operations to confirm compliance with established quality benchmarks.

Examine quality-related data and performance indicators to detect patterns, opportunities for enhancement, and potential hazards.

Train and cultivate staff in quality control methodologies and optimal procedures, cultivating a pervasive culture of quality consciousness across the organization.

Provide leadership to cross-functional teams to systematically investigate and address the underlying causes of quality-related problems, driving resolution through collaborative problem-solving efforts.

Craft comprehensive quality reports for senior leadership, incorporating actionable recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness.

To maintain current knowledge, monitor industry standards, regulations, and quality management best practices.

Seeking a highly-skilled professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, along with a proven track record in project management and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, complemented by relevant certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership abilities are essential, alongside proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement are also required.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline is required, with a Master’s degree or professional certifications such as Six Sigma or ASQ being advantageous.

A minimum of three years of experience in quality control or quality assurance management, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering industry, is required.

Proficiency in quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001 and TS16949, along with quality control techniques including statistical process control and lean manufacturing methodologies, is required.

Demonstrated expertise in guiding teams and spearheading initiatives focused on continuous improvement.

Proven ability to analyze complex information and resolve challenges efficiently, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven capacity to engage collaboratively with diverse cross-functional teams.

Demonstrates a strong command of software and tools designed for quality management.

The remuneration for this position ranges from ₦300,000 to ₦420,000.
