The role serves to fulfill specific organizational objectives by executing key functions that drive operational effectiveness and strategic outcomes. At this stage, you will strategically plan, lead, and coordinate construction initiatives from their conceptual phase, ensuring their execution advances efficiently within budgetary and scheduling constraints while collaborating closely with the project team.

Also, responsible for overseeing the budgeting, organizing, implementing, and scheduling of projects by directing and coordinating the activities of subordinate supervisory personnel within the business.

Ensure the completion of all assigned tasks with precision and adherence to established protocols. Oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency and productivity within the team. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to address project requirements and deliver timely solutions. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance. Uphold company standards and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives through diligent execution of duties.

Provide overall leadership and management of construction projects throughout every phase, from initial planning and design through to final execution and completion.

Conduct a thorough analysis of the projects to establish timely deliverables and provide accurate cost estimations.

Monitor all construction activities, whether conducted on-site or off-site, to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.

Oversee and lead the efforts of construction project managers and subcontractor teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Recommend suitable work tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure operational efficiency and resource availability.

Ensure adherence to all contractual performance obligations in coordination with the Project Manager.

Monitor project advancements on a daily basis and provide updates to the CEO/Executive Director.

Accurate and prompt compilation of both internal and external reports regarding job status is required.

Proactively anticipate potential challenges and address any developing issues in coordination with the Project team to ensure seamless progress.

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while providing comprehensive reports directly to the CEO or Executive Director. This role involves overseeing risk management strategies to safeguard organizational objectives and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Ensure adherence to stringent quality construction standards and the implementation of appropriate construction techniques throughout all project phases.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of projects to verify adherence to building codes and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with the team to develop and prepare accurate budget estimates, which will be submitted to the CEO/ED for review and approval.

Compiles comprehensive progress and cost tracking reports ensuring accurate and timely financial oversight.

Conduct thorough examinations of damage, accidents, or delays occurring at construction sites to verify adherence to established procedures.

Proven expertise in strategic planning, exceptional analytical abilities, and strong leadership qualities are essential for this role. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a track record of driving results through innovative problem-solving. Proficiency in relevant industry tools and software, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development, is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, a customer-centric mindset, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building/Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline, supplemented by a certification in Construction Management, is required.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in analyzing and comprehending blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering contracts with precision and clarity.

Skilled in both verbal and written communication, adept at engaging with vendors, providing updates to stakeholders, and inspiring team members.

Problem-solving entails the capacity to make prompt, well-informed decisions in high-pressure situations, particularly when addressing emergencies or unforeseen on-site obstacles.

Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and proficiency in managing human resources effectively.
