Job Summary

Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology are currently sought for this position, offering flexible shift-based work arrangements. The role requires collaboration between two physicians, with options for either alternating day and night shifts or a structured “one week in, one week out” schedule.

Responsibilities

Conducting thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and delivering expert care for obstetric and gynecological cases are central to this role.

Surgical Procedures: Conduct obstetric and gynecological surgeries independently or provide assistance, encompassing Caesarean Sections (C-Sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and other related gynecological interventions.

Lead daily ward rounds, oversee pre- and post-operative patient care, and uphold the provision of exceptional, patient-focused services to optimize clinical outcomes and satisfaction.

Deliver round-the-clock on-site medical assistance throughout assigned shifts and respond to obstetric emergencies with promptness and accuracy.

Ensure the precision and integrity of medical records while contributing to clinical audits and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ medical issues by reviewing their history, performing diagnoses, administering treatments, providing counseling, and facilitating referrals when required.

Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results.

Ensuring strict confidentiality and remaining impartial in all situations are essential requirements of this role.

The role involves gathering, documenting, and securely managing confidential patient data, including examination outcomes, medical records, and clinical reports.

Deliver newborns, conduct surgical procedures for patients in need, and perform routine clinical ward rounds to oversee patient care and treatment progress.

Procedures and prescribed treatments are communicated to patients in a clear, comprehensible manner.

Collaborating with healthcare providers in community settings and hospitals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals to advance health education initiatives is a key responsibility of this role.

Achieving the hospital-established benchmarks for patient satisfaction is a key responsibility.

Engaging in thorough assessments and dialogues regarding innovative pharmaceutical offerings with company representatives from the industry.

Staying informed about the latest advancements in medical research, emerging treatment methods, and new medications is essential.

Evaluating the performance of trainee doctors, nurses, and medical students through direct observation and structured assessments is a key responsibility of this role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by at least five years of hands-on software development experience • Proven proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++ • Minimum of three years of leadership experience managing technical teams or projects • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering scalable, high-performance solutions • Exceptional communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies

Holders of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized accredited institution are required.

Full registration with a current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for the fields of Obstetrics and Gynecology is essential.
