DTA is in search of a diligent, dependable, and exceptionally professional Security Officer to strengthen our team. This position will position you as the primary safeguard, protecting our facilities, assets, employees, and visitors.

Oversee the daily execution of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while maintaining high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, fostering collaboration and accountability throughout each phase. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Prepare comprehensive reports to track progress, address challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions. Participate in executive meetings, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and market trends.
Patrol and Surveillance: Perform consistent foot or vehicle patrols throughout the interior and perimeter of DTA facilities to prevent unauthorized entry, vandalism, or theft.
Monitor access points vigilantly to regulate entry and exit, verifying individual identities, distributing visitor badges, reviewing access logs, and enforcing strict authorization protocols to safeguard facility security.
Operate and maintain various security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarm panels, and fire/safety gates to ensure continuous monitoring.
Emergency Response: Serve as an initial responder to crises, including fires, medical emergencies, and security incidents. Collaborate efficiently with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response.
Incident Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into disruptions and prepare comprehensive, precise written incident reports for management review.
Public Relations: Welcome guests and employees courteously, offering guidance or support while upholding a safe and secure setting.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in [specific software/tools, if applicable] is required, and familiarity with [relevant standards, frameworks, or methodologies] is strongly preferred. A valid and current Security Guard License or Guard Card, as mandated by applicable local laws, is required for this position.
Proficient in a range of technical and soft skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in deliverables. Capable of adapting to evolving priorities and working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, or other specialized tools as required by the role. Proficient in both verbal and written communication, with a strong ability to articulate information clearly in logs and effectively de-escalate tense situations.
Possesses a solid understanding of fundamental security technologies, including smartphones, radio communication protocols, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems.
Ability to stand or walk for extended durations—up to four consecutive hours—as well as lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds when required.
