This position collaborates with the commercial team to oversee project cost control, performance metrics, valuation processes, and subcontractor management for ongoing road construction projects.
The ideal candidate will prepare detailed quantity take-offs, conduct precise site measurements, provide support for interim valuations, monitor variations, assist with subcontractor payments, and generate comprehensive cost reports—all under the guidance of the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor.
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying is required.
With a minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying practice, particularly on road or civil infrastructure projects, the ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise to the role.
Accomplished professionals with extensive expertise in measurement, meticulous BOQ preparation, and valuation support are sought.
With a proven track record in verifying and authorizing subcontractor payments, as well as overseeing variation management processes, you will ensure financial accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Possesses foundational understanding of cost reporting and commercial project oversight.
Proficient in analyzing engineering drawings to accurately determine measurements and specifications.
NILS registration or eligibility for candidate membership is highly desirable.
