Job Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and highly skilled Machine Operator to oversee, regulate, and maintain production equipment, with the primary goal of sustaining optimal manufacturing efficiency and upholding stringent product quality standards.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment. Lead initiatives that drive organizational growth while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and foster innovation. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow and mitigate risks. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and leadership to facilitate clear communication and alignment of goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards to uphold organizational integrity.
Operate production machinery in strict adherence to established company protocols and safety regulations.
Monitor machine operations closely to identify any deviations or inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures as needed to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Perform regular equipment inspections and carry out essential maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
Identify and promptly report any malfunctions, failures, or deviations in production processes to ensure swift resolution and minimize downtime.
Products must consistently adhere to established quality standards while achieving production targets.
Accurately maintain and update production records and reports ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a tidy workspace while strictly following all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
Candidates must meet the following criteria: a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in relevant software and tools, and strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, and prior experience in a leadership or supervisory position is highly advantageous. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is essential, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test certification, or an equivalent credential is required.
We seek candidates with a track record of 1 to 3 years of hands-on machine operation experience within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing settings.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues is required.
Capable of performing duties across varying shifts while maintaining independence in task execution.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining high safety standards.
