This position encompasses menu development, bulk ingredient processing, inventory oversight, and upholding impeccable kitchen cleanliness, frequently necessitating early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours.
Oversee and execute a range of essential duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and maintain high standards of performance. Implement and monitor processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across all assigned functions. Food Preparation: Develop and prepare nutritious, flavorful, and visually appealing meals tailored for large-scale service to students and faculty.
Dietary Accommodations: Develop and adjust recipes to provide suitable alternatives for students facing allergies, religious dietary constraints, or medical conditions.
Ensure meticulous compliance with stringent health and safety regulations by properly storing food, maintaining precise temperature controls, and thoroughly cleaning all kitchen areas, dining facilities, and equipment.
Assist in receiving food deliveries, overseeing stock levels, and implementing strategies to minimize food waste as part of inventory and stock management responsibilities.
Collaboration entails partnering with the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager to synchronize meal preparation schedules with the school’s daily bell schedule.
