Job Summary

We require an experienced and highly organized Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, manage inventory, supervise staff, coordinate procurement, and uphold beverage service standards.

The successful applicant will oversee seamless daily operations, uphold superior service standards, and guide the bar team in providing outstanding guest experiences.

Oversee a range of critical tasks, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Actively engage in project management, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve milestones and deliver measurable outcomes. Conduct thorough assessments of operational processes to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven improvements. Foster collaboration with stakeholders to enhance communication and streamline workflows. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while mitigating risks through proactive measures. Additionally, mentor team members to cultivate leadership skills and drive professional growth.

Direct supervision of all daily bar activities is required, including the implementation of both opening and closing protocols.

Oversee the work of bartending staff and uphold established service protocols.

Oversee the beverage preparation process, ensuring adherence to established standards, while maintaining optimal stock levels to meet demand. Conduct routine quality control checks to verify consistency, freshness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Oversee inventory management, perform stock reconciliation, and strategize procurement planning to ensure optimal supply levels and operational efficiency.

Ensure the precise operation and reporting of point-of-sale systems.

Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen, procurement, and front-of-house personnel to ensure operational alignment and efficiency.

Oversee the operational performance and upkeep needs of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.

Compile detailed operational and inventory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in documenting key metrics and data points to support informed decision-making processes.

Assist with the organization and execution of beverage services for events and special functions to ensure seamless and satisfying experiences for attendees.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational protocols at all times.

Requirements

Preferred candidates will possess an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree.

Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in bar operations or hospitality management is required.

Experienced in overseeing inventory control and sourcing activities, with a proven ability to streamline procurement processes and maintain accurate stock levels to meet operational demands.

Proficient in utilizing point-of-sale systems and conducting thorough stock reconciliation procedures.

Accomplished professionals with a demonstrated history of leading and motivating teams to achieve organizational success are encouraged to apply. A strong track record of guiding cross-functional groups and fostering collaboration to meet strategic objectives is essential. Candidates should exhibit the ability to inspire and develop team members while maintaining accountability for performance outcomes.
