Job Summary

We’re in search of a sharp, forward-thinking, and digitally proficient Graduate Trainee Intern (NYC Corps Member) to enhance our team. Candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and demonstrate foundational expertise or practical involvement in digital marketing, social media oversight, content development, and web-based research. This position provides a prime chance to acquire hands-on experience across technology, digital marketing, travel, and education consulting while actively supporting the company’s expansion.

Oversee a range of critical duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, the management of cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals, and the monitoring of performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative work environment, mentoring junior staff to support their professional development, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations. The role demands strong leadership capabilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Provide assistance in the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives spanning multiple online channels.

Provide support in the administration and expansion of the organization’s social media platforms.

Develop compelling and informative content tailored for various digital platforms, including social media channels, blog posts, newsletters, and website updates.

Perform comprehensive online research to analyze current market trends, evaluate competitor strategies, and monitor key industry developments.

Facilitate website content updates while performing fundamental search engine optimization tasks to enhance online visibility and engagement.

Drive digital initiatives focused on generating leads to support organizational objectives.

Track social media interactions and address inquiries as needed.

Help develop basic graphics, presentations, and marketing materials by utilizing design software and tools.

Create comprehensive reports that analyze and summarize digital marketing performance metrics and the outcomes of marketing campaigns.

Deliver comprehensive administrative and technical assistance to assigned departments, ensuring seamless operational support.

Continuously monitor advancements in digital tools, technologies, and online marketing trends to ensure awareness of the latest developments.

Requirements

Serving NYC Corps Members who have been deployed to Lagos are required for this position.

A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

A foundational understanding or hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or search engine optimization is required.

Proficient in conducting thorough online research and adept at utilizing computer applications effectively.

Proficient in utilizing design and productivity tools, including Canva, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as maintaining a strong proficiency in navigating social media platforms.

Proficiency in website management and digital technologies is advantageous, providing a competitive edge in the role.

Proficient in both written and oral communication is essential.

Creative, self-driven, and eager to expand their skill set.

Demonstrated capacity to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

Demonstrates exceptional precision in work and possesses robust analytical skills to resolve challenges effectively.
