Conduct bank reconciliations and verify accurate coding of cash receipts and transfers.
Oversee and ensure the proper upkeep and management of fixed assets to preserve their value and functionality.
Compile balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.
Conduct a monthly profit and loss analysis, identifying and explaining variances from the budget and previous periods, and recommend necessary journal entries where applicable.
Oversee the completion of year-end accounting close processes, ensuring all activities are systematically scheduled and executed with precision.
Provides support for annual financial and other audits, facilitating thorough reviews and assessments to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
A minimum of four years of comprehensive accounting experience is required.
Professional experience within the financial technology sector is highly advantageous.

Membership in pertinent professional organizations, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), is considered advantageous.
Skilled in delivering clear, articulate written and oral communication, as well as confidently presenting information to diverse audiences.
Proficient in utilizing advanced functions within Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to LOOKUP, SUM IFS, advanced filtering techniques, pivot tables, conditional statements (IF), and the Text to Columns feature.
