Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will provide assistance to the Production Officer in managing the daily operations and manufacturing workflows for MSHE building blocks and machinery. This position entails collaborating in the coordination of production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Oversee and execute critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives forward. Lead and mentor high-performing teams, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering innovation and accountability at all levels. Develop and implement policies that enhance productivity, compliance, and workplace culture, positioning the organization as an industry leader. Manage key projects with precision, optimizing resource allocation and mitigating risks to deliver measurable results. Act as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and executives to streamline communication and facilitate informed decision-making.
Assist the Production Officer in managing the manufacturing team and supervising all facets of the production workflow.
Assist in creating and executing production schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand and project deadlines.
Monitor production operations to assess performance and pinpoint avenues for enhancing workflow efficiency, levels, and product quality.
Collaborate on the establishment and execution of quality control measures and protocols to verify that products consistently adhere to established specifications.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions while coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure prompt issue resolution.
Deliver comprehensive training and mentorship to production personnel regarding established operating procedures and stringent safety standards.
Evaluate production data and generate detailed reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for submission to the Production Officer.
Perform systematic inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and report any faults or irregularities without delay.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing and Inventory, to align production requirements and ensure seamless coordination.
Suggest and implement enhancements to workflows, fostering innovations that drive greater operational productivity and effectiveness.
Demonstrate unwavering adherence to all relevant safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory mandates.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience in software development. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with expertise in frameworks like Django, Spring Boot, or .NET. Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL, and version control tools like Git is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable, as is knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Possesses a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in block production processes and machinery troubleshooting.
Accomplished analytical and critical thinking abilities, paired with exceptional problem-solving and decisive judgment, are essential.
Required are strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate efficiently with the production team.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is essential.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, effectively prioritize assignments, and perform efficiently under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
Possesses a solid understanding of machinery operations and maintenance protocols, including preventive and corrective measures to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Demonstrates proficiency in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing timely interventions to mitigate potential downtime. Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines to uphold workplace standards and regulatory compliance.
