We are seeking a full-time Production Planning Control professional to join our team on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria.
This position involves creating, revising, and tracking daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to guarantee timely deliveries while optimizing the utilization of machinery, materials, and workforce.
The Production Planning Control professional will collaborate extensively with production, procurement, maintenance, and logistics teams to synchronize capacity with customer orders and inventory objectives.
The role involves conducting daily analysis of production data, monitoring work orders, pinpointing bottlenecks, and proposing optimizations to sustain efficiency and uphold quality benchmarks.
The position will entail generating periodic reports, notifying stakeholders of any modifications to plans, engaging in ongoing improvement projects, and facilitating compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, is essential, along with expertise in database management and system architecture. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions are also necessary. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git, is preferred.
