Job Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site NOC Field Engineer to be stationed in Lagos, responsible for the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of Tibet’s network infrastructure.
Responsibilities encompass conducting system diagnostics, administering network infrastructure, delivering technical assistance, and supervising network security measures to maintain optimal performance and dependability.
The engineer will additionally partner with various cross-functional teams to address network challenges and guarantee seamless operational performance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required. Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also important. Prior experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices is expected.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
Skilled in executing Network Operations Center (NOC) functions and adhering to established principles.
Proficient in the administration of networks, with expertise in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve network issues with precision and efficiency.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering technical assistance to both internal team members and external clients.
Possesses working knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions through critical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or comparable credentials are advantageous.
