A seasoned Group Treasurer is sought to oversee treasury functions for a diversified group encompassing insurance, health, and financial services enterprises.
This senior executive position will report directly to the Group Managing Director, overseeing treasury strategy development, liquidity management, investment supervision, and financial risk mitigation across all organizational entities.
Key accountabilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards, managing cross-functional teams to drive project completion, and collaborating with senior leadership to align business objectives with operational strategies. Additionally, the role is responsible for analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement are essential.
Design and execute treasury policies and governance frameworks that apply uniformly across the entire organization.
Oversee liquidity management and strategic capital distribution among various subsidiaries to ensure financial stability and optimal resource utilization.
Develop and execute investment strategies while overseeing portfolio management initiatives to drive optimal financial outcomes.
Monitor and address potential risks associated with interest rate fluctuations, foreign exchange volatility, credit exposures, and liquidity constraints to ensure financial stability and compliance with risk management protocols.
Cultivate and oversee strategic partnerships with banking entities, financial organizations, and key players in the capital markets to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory mandates established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the National Insurance Commission (NICOL), and the National Health Insurance Authority (CHIA).
Seeking a highly motivated professional to fill this critical role, applicants must possess at least three years of hands-on experience in a related field, a bachelor’s degree in a pertinent discipline, and strong proficiency with industry-standard software tools.
