Develop and architect holistic, end-to-end network security frameworks to safeguard organizational infrastructure against evolving threats.
Ongoing support for the daily security operations, strategic planning, and maintenance of MTN Nigeria’s enterprise and mobile data networks will be provided, leveraging cutting-edge network security technologies.
Description
Coordinate a comprehensive grasp of multiservice platforms and routing protocols, including ISIS, RIP, RSVP, OSPF, BGP, and IBP, while diagnosing issues down to the packet level.
Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in IP/MPLS protocols, Network Management Systems (NMS), firewall configurations, Cisco Works, and CIC, while aligning with Layer 2 and 3 VPN standards as stipulated by Service Level Agreements.
Design and deploy site-to-site and remote access virtual private networks to ensure secure, encrypted connectivity between networks and individual users.
Design and deploy advanced firewall solutions alongside robust network access control systems to safeguard digital infrastructure against unauthorized access and potential threats.
Design and deploy mile-to-mile business connectivity solutions utilizing technologies such as General Packet Radio Service (GPRS).
Design and enforce network access control policies spanning various network segments within the IP/MPLS infrastructure.
Implement robust security protocols and proactive measures to safeguard against unauthorized access.
Investigate and address network-related faults to ensure they are resolved promptly and efficiently. Monitor and optimize network clearance rates to maintain high performance and reliability standards.
Deliver high-quality deployment of new data and services in collaboration with Marketing and IP System planning to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
Execute the implementation and integration of new nodes, ensuring a seamless transition to the new system.
Deliver urgent maintenance services for IP/MPLS network infrastructures, leveraging strong security expertise alongside advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
Ensure the completion of planned works at the targeted rate, maintaining efficiency and adherence to established schedules.
Maintain close collaboration with intellectual property vendors while coordinating with technical assistance centers and vendor Tier 2 and 3 support teams.
Foster meaningful value creation by strategically engaging and aligning stakeholders throughout all stages of the initiative.
