Contrast Microfinance Bank, a premier provider of loan solutions, is committed to empowering small businesses and fostering economic growth. We are in search of a highly motivated Micro Loan Officer to strengthen our progressive team. Your primary responsibility will involve generating impact by sourcing, evaluating, and finalizing high-quality loans for eligible small enterprises.
Oversee various operational tasks to ensure seamless business functioning, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and process optimization. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and streamline workflows. Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
Relationship Management: Proactively identify, cultivate, and sustain meaningful connections with both prospective and current small business borrowers to foster long-term partnerships.
Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of financial data and determine creditworthiness to maintain high-quality loan portfolios.
Guide borrowers effortlessly through every stage of the loan application journey, meticulously verifying documentation accuracy and expediting the closing process to meet deadlines.
Portfolio Monitoring involves sustaining proactive communication with clients to uphold favorable repayment progress and foster enduring client relationships.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of three years in a software development role, with proficiency in full-stack development.
• Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL; strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP); experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Additional Requirements: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
With a minimum of three years of experience in a Micro Loan Officer role, specializing in the sale of microloans to small enterprises, you must demonstrate a consistent history of surpassing loan origination targets.
Proficient in key aspects of micro-lending, including credit analysis and risk evaluation tailored to small business ventures.
Exceptional organizational abilities, strong communication prowess, and refined time management expertise are essential.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
