We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team, responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high performance standards. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field. Ensure timely and precise processing of monthly payroll for all employees, encompassing full-time, part-time, and contract staff.

Gather, validate, and align attendance, overtime, and leave data sourced from HR and departmental managers prior to processing payroll.

Responsibilities include computing and managing mandatory deductions such as PAYE (Personal Income Tax), pension contributions, National Housing Fund (NHF), and any other relevant levies in accordance with statutory regulations.

Ensure that all statutory deductions are remitted promptly to the appropriate government agencies, including PEN COM, NHF, NS ITF, and others, while adhering to the prescribed deadlines.

Ensure payroll records, employee salary details, and deduction schedules are meticulously maintained and kept current within the HRIS or payroll software system.

Generate and disseminate payslips to all employees at the conclusion of each pay period.

Address employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and resolve discrepancies efficiently and accurately.

Compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports must be performed to support management and finance teams in their review processes.

Facilitate internal and external payroll audits by ensuring the provision of precise records and supporting documentation.

Oversee and execute modifications to payroll procedures in accordance with evolving tax legislation, pension guidelines, and minimum wage statutes.

Work collaboratively with Human Resources to facilitate new hires, separations, promotions, salary modifications, and other payroll-related adjustments.

Maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding all payroll and employee financial information at all times.

Provide support in compiling annual tax returns and other regulatory filings pertaining to employee compensation.

Proactively assess payroll procedures and internal controls to uncover enhancements and optimization opportunities.

Proficiency in data protection principles, specifically regarding employee information, is essential, with a strong emphasis on compliance with the Norwegian Data Protection Act (NDA).
