Job Description
Overseeing the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all capital projects are delivered with technical excellence and compliance to statutory requirements.
Proactively diagnose and resolve common valve issues, including leaks, mechanical malfunctions, and signs of wear.
Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning processes.
Support the assessment of valve functionality and verify compliance with customer requirements.
Conduct regular evaluations of valves, including assessments for leaks, pressure integrity, and flow performance.
Provide support in the upkeep and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Skilled in utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB with a high level of proficiency.
A solid grasp of electrical codes and safety standards is essential.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this opportunity. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Prior leadership or project management experience is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, familiarity with current industry trends and compliance regulations is highly advantageous.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of five to seven years of experience is required in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management within the oil and gas sector.
