We are in search of a compassionate, well-informed, and client-centered Health Care Assistant to become part of our medical equipment and consumables wholesale and retail establishment.

You will deliver expert guidance to customers regarding medical products, facilitate seamless purchasing transactions, and uphold superior service standards within a retail healthcare setting.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to administrative coordination, project management oversight, and strategic planning implementation. Ensure adherence to established protocols while fostering collaboration across departments to achieve organizational objectives. Develop and maintain efficient workflows to optimize productivity and support team goals. Provide guidance to staff on best practices and facilitate training initiatives to enhance skill development. Monitor performance metrics and report progress to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with company priorities and drive sustainable growth. Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with regulatory standards to uphold organizational integrity.

As a knowledgeable professional, you will welcome customers and provide expert guidance on a broad range of medical equipment and supplies. This includes mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers, health monitoring devices like blood pressure monitors and oxygen concentrators, as well as essential consumables including gloves, bandages, syringes, and wound dressings. Your role involves addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring customers select the most suitable products to meet their healthcare needs.

Instruct customers on the correct operation and handling of medical devices and equipment to ensure safe and effective usage.

Assist customers in choosing products that align with their specific requirements and physician recommendations while ensuring precise inventory documentation.

Deliver essential post-sales assistance and proactively follow up with customers as required to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Monitor inventory levels and promptly report any shortages to ensure smooth operations. Support inventory control processes by tracking stock levels and coordinating replenishment efforts as needed.

Requirements.

A certification in Health Care Assistance, Nursing Assistance, or a related field—or an SSC certificate accompanied by practical experience in a medical store or healthcare environment—is required.

Proven expertise in medical equipment and consumables is essential for this role.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

A warm, composed, and dependable demeanor is essential, characterized by an approachable nature, unwavering patience, and a reputation for reliability.

Capable of safely handling and transporting lightweight equipment as required by the position.

Proficient in utilizing computer applications for sales and inventory management is required.
