Main Functions

Assess discipline engineering activities—both those carried out internally and by contractors or subcontractors—to verify compliance with project specifications, organizational standards, and applicable regulatory mandates.

Delivers discipline-specific engineering and design processes in alignment with the project’s established goals, objectives, and established procedures.

Ensures precise and prompt dissemination of information regarding discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues among the Project Team and other relevant company functions.

Additionally, candidates must exhibit strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, complementing their technical proficiency.

Responsibilities include overseeing core duties and delivering key results to ensure operational efficiency and team productivity. This position requires managing day-to-day workflows, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals. Collaborating with stakeholders, tracking progress, and implementing process improvements are essential to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the role demands strong communication and problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly and maintain high performance standards.

In addition to fulfilling all responsibilities outlined in Level 1, Level 2 responsibilities include performing intermediate-level tasks with greater independence and oversight. This role requires a deeper understanding of processes, enhanced problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to mentor or guide less experienced team members. Candidates should possess advanced technical or operational skills relevant to the position, along with strong communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders and ensure smooth workflow execution. Problem identification, resolution, and process improvement are key expectations at this level.

Conduct or oversee risk assessments and consequence analyses, including toxic gas dispersion modeling studies.

To establish and maintain safety standards, instructions, and codes, formalize them into documented company practices as mandated.

Seeking a candidate with proven expertise in project management, exceptional communication abilities, and strong analytical skills to drive successful outcomes. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role is required, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. The ideal applicant will demonstrate leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to timelines. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory, and professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly advantageous. Responsibilities include overseeing project lifecycles, mitigating risks, and delivering high-quality results in alignment with organizational objectives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Demonstrated expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles and standards is essential, including a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Experienced in implementing and maintaining loss prevention measures to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risks. Skilled in identifying potential vulnerabilities, conducting thorough risk assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate theft, fraud, and operational losses. Proficient in utilizing surveillance systems, inventory controls, and employee training programs to ensure compliance with security protocols and company policies.

Demonstrates a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of discipline-specific design standards, applicable specifications, regulatory codes, and pertinent safety criteria.

Demonstrates the capacity to perform effectively under stringent deadlines, manage substantial workloads, and navigate shifting priorities with agility.

Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of applications proficiently.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with particular emphasis on technical and business communication contexts.
