Job Summary
A highly proficient and seasoned Plumbing & Electrical Technician is required to support our factory maintenance operations. The successful applicant will undertake the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of plumbing and electrical systems throughout the factory facility.
Oversee a range of essential duties to ensure operational efficiency and team productivity, including delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align projects with organizational goals, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to drive results. Maintain clear communication channels to foster transparency and accountability while addressing challenges proactively. Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to uphold compliance and mitigate risks. Lead initiatives that optimize workflows, streamline processes, and enhance overall quality.
Perform regular maintenance and execute repairs on both plumbing and electrical systems as required.
Promptly identify and resolve system faults, implementing corrective measures to restore optimal functionality.
Install and maintain essential infrastructure, including water supply, drainage, and electrical distribution systems, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Verify that all maintenance operations adhere to established safety protocols and organizational policies.
Address emergency breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to operations and safety.
Maintain precise documentation of all completed maintenance activities and interventions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an OND, Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, or a closely related discipline.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is required.
Possesses a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical maintenance procedures.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings and manuals.
Exceptional ability to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
Effectively collaborates with team members and communicates clearly to ensure cohesive project execution and goal attainment.
