Conduct routine audits of daily transactions, treasury activities, and expense approvals to mitigate potential financial discrepancies and safeguard organizational assets.
Fraud & Compliance: Maintain rigorous compliance with CBN and AML/CFT regulations while spearheading independent fraud investigations to uphold organizational integrity.
Reporting involves the creation of annual risk-based audit plans and the delivery of impartial findings to the Audit Committee.
Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is required, and prior project management experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or Finance, coupled with either ACA or ARCA certification, is required.
